Alisoft to Open E-commerce Cloud Computing Centers

Alibaba Group's software subsidiary Alisoft announced on December 30 that it plans to build several e-commerce "Business Cloud" computing centers, the first of which will be established in Nanjing in early 2009 with initial investment of more than RMB 100 million, reports Sina. The cloud computing centers will work with the Hangzhou data center and provide e-commerce services to domestic users as well as computing, storage and network services.
