Ian McGuinn runs the research and operations for Pacific Epoch. Prior to this position, Mr. McGuinn served as Vice President of Research, Shanghai General Manager, and Head of Research. He has been involved in overseeing research and publications, implementing the strategic direction of the firm, directing product development, and leading the technology infrastructure.

Before joining the company, he led a cross-functional team at Thomson Financial where he managed 200 corporate clients and advised executives on communication practices in capital markets. He also served as primary negotiator for all deals in given sales territories and was responsible for client compliance.

He currently sits on various advisory boards including Ad:Tech China and is a frequent guest on CNBC. Mr. McGuinn holds a B.A. from Middlebury College and an M.A. in international relations from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.
